Role: 

 

The Security Support Services Technician will support our SmartRayVision segment.  SmartRayVision products are made in the United States of America with high-quality performance and attentive service for some of the highest-ranking government offices and state & local agencies.  Our core product is a sophisticated but intuitive portable digital x-ray system to deliver unmatched clarity and connectivity for bomb technicians all over the world.

 

Core Duties:

  • Provide second level technical support for client calls and on-line request.
  • Responsible for configuration and verification of equipment to ensure clients receive a fully functional system.
  • Assist with core Windows image creation, updating, and deployment.
  • Assist with supporting the Microsoft Azure environment.
  • Assist with testing Alpha releases of both software and hardware products.
  • Assist with the development and improvements of the hardware and software we deploy.
  • Assist with coordinating efforts with Beta clients for testing both software and hardware products.
  • Develop installation packages for updating existing customer systems.
  • Deploy update packages to existing systems and provide training on new features.
  • Assist with training customers on our system.
  • Project manage small to medium projects within your team as well as coordinating tasks with other members of the organization.
  • After an initial training period, perform rotating on-call duties.

Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of experience in Information Technology Preferred
  • Strong technical support level knowledge of Windows 10
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • High initiative
  • Strong drive to achieve results
  • Experience with formal end-user training or willingness to learn this skill effectively a plus
  • Experience with Windows Deployment Server (Image creation and updates a plus)
  • Experience with group policies
  • Digital X-Ray experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Federal/Military computer security a plus
